About dailyRushes
I'm an editor who got tired of the repetitive bits. So I started scripting them away. dailyRushes is where those scripts, plugins and tools live — some free, some paid, all built to solve real problems in real edit suites.
Why This Exists
DaVinci Resolve is an incredible piece of software, but some workflows still take more clicks than they should. Marker management, subtitle placement, timeline automation, format conversion — these are things editors do hundreds of times a week.
Every tool here started as something I needed on a job. If it saved me time, I figured it would save you time too.
What You'll Find Here
A mix of free and paid tools, all for DaVinci Resolve. Lua scripts that run inside Resolve's console, Fusion fuses that drop into your node tree, web-based utilities for workflows that don't need Resolve open, and the occasional plugin for more complex jobs.
Free tools are genuinely free — no sign-up wall, no feature crippling, no "free trial" that expires. Paid tools exist because some things take significantly more development time, and charging for them lets me keep building.
How I Work
Editor First
Every tool is built from inside the edit suite, not from a spec sheet. If it doesn't fit into a real workflow, it doesn't ship.
No Subscriptions
You buy it, you own it. One-time purchases. Free updates where stated on the product page.
Free Resolve Support
Where possible, tools work with the free edition of DaVinci Resolve. Compatibility is clearly marked on every product page.
Direct Support
No ticket system, no chatbot. You contact me, I reply. Simple as that.
